The Frankie Shop is excited to announce our latest partnership with artist Thomas Lélu. This exclusive collection showcases handmade porcelain ceramics from France, featuring Lélu's signature offbeat humor and hand-scribbled wit.

This versatile French artist embarked on his creative path as a graphic designer after graduating from l’école des arts décoratifs. Renowned for his thought-provoking conceptual art books and ingenious fashion memes, Thomas Lélu swiftly amassed a devoted online community.

Seamlessly merging his artistic vision with the fashion scene, Lélu carved a unique space, introducing clever and witty visual commentaries that resonated globally. His astute yet humorous take on digital art and internet culture solidified his standing as an innovative pioneer in this evolving landscape. 

Recognized for his provocative phrases and uniquely crafted puns, Lélu brings his unmistakable scribble to a curated assortment of espresso cups, mugs, and an essential tray. These messages aim to brighten your daily routines, bringing a touch of joy this holiday season.

“The challenge was to bring something special and hopeful this holiday season. If Thomas’s scribbles can somehow bring people a little bit of joy even during these difficult times, then it’s worth it,” explains our founder, Gaelle Drevet.

To celebrate this collaboration, we hosted a special meet-and-greet with the artist Thomas Lélu. Guests had the opportunity to explore our exclusive capsule collection, request personalized scribbles from Lélu, and interact with our latest window display—a pile of Lélu x TFS stickers available for everyone to take home and enjoy. 

For our New Yorkers, we introduced the TFS x Thomas Lelu Piaggio Ape, which was stationed in front of our Crosby Street boutique. This cute pop-up served as a dynamic hub for customers to learn about the collaboration and explore the complete collection firsthand.

This collaboration goes beyond just bringing smiles. It's about making a difference this holiday season. We have dedicated proceeds of this collaboration to the Red Cross for its efficiency in helping those affected by conflict.
